Ayn Rand Hero: Eduardo Marty – Promoting Objectivism and Challenging Postmodernism in Argentina (audio only)

August 3, 20160 Comments

In this episode of the Ayn Rand Hero Podcast, I sat down with Eduardo Marty to discuss the exciting (and challenging) world of bringing Objectivism and the work of Ayn Rand to Argentina – a country with heavy socialist tendencies.  (Note: this episode is audio only. the video recording broke 🙁 )

Eduardo was a professor of Economic Policy and the Universidad de Buenos Aires and at Universidad Francisco Marroquin of Guatemala.  He was educated as an accountant at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and as an economist at Grove City College, USA.  He is the founder of Libertad Querida nonpolitical movement to debate freedom of ideas.  He is the founder of Junior Achievement Argentina and the founder and President of FRI (Foundation for Intellectual Responsibility), an organization that promotes the understanding and respect for the philosophy of freedom among businessmen and intellectuals.
